Cheats (To get these to work hole down the Shift, Ctrl, Alt & C keys on your keyboard)
Rosebud In The Sims version 1.1, 1.2, or with any of the expansion packs this will give you §1000. If you are The Sims 1.0 version of the game use klapaucius instead of rosebud. For even more money type rosebud and hit enter, then reopen the cheat window and type !;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;! and hit enter. Wow look at all the money now. Move_objects on
Type move_objects on in the code box and it will allow you to move any objects, including your sims, items in use, and item outside your property. Be careful with what you delete or move because some items you can'buy back, like your mailbox and trash can. To turn this off just type in Move_objects off.

show_zones on
With Unleashed, you can type show_zones on in the code box and the game will turn on the zoning outlines around lots so you cen see the 2 diffrent lot types easyly. To turn this off just type in show_zones off and they will go back to normal.

Interests
Type this code followed while selecting a family member and you can see a brake-down of their likes and dislikes. This tells you what conversations they will enjoy, or not enjoy. Also see if your sims like the same things. This even works on pets.

Edit_Grass Type this code followed with a number from -150 to 150. Then, click on any grass and that spot will be adjusted to the number value.

Water_Tool Type once to turn it on, again to turn it off. You need to be in Build mode to use this. This code allows you to create water on you property, for loves or streams. This code is not avalible with Hot Date, Vacation & Unleashed, but can be used in any other of the games. To remove water hold Ctrl when drawing water.

Auto_level
Architecture tools automatically set the level (floor) as needed when building. So you don't need to switch back and forth between 1st and 2nd story.
prepare_lot
Check and fix required lot objects. This can help your game run faster and make objects work better and not have to deal with "broken" items while playing.

map_edit on
Opens map editior which allows you to deside which tiles are part of your property and you can build on. For example you can make the sidewalk part of your property. To turn off map editor type "Map_edit Off" into the cheat box

Quit
A pretty simple code that just quits the game and closes everything. It is an easy way to get out of the program.

refresh_textures
Rematch dependent textures and regenerate bitmaps for all user characters and objects. Save A quick way to save the game without leaving live mode. You can type save in the cheat code box to save the game quickly.

draw_routes on
The selected Sim's path will be displayed so you can see how they are going to get to a place. To turn off the paths type "draw_routes off " in the cheat code box.

autonomy (1-100)
Type autonomy followed by a number from one to one-hundred to set the "free will" level of your sims. By typing in autonomy 100 you sims will be totaly independent, but if you type autonomy 1 your sims will not do anything unless you tell them to.

all_menus
Type this code to get a toggle display of all unavailable interactions in person control menus.

Type this code will toggle the families web page creation.

Nessie
Type this code while on the neighborhood screen, and watch the water! This code only works with Unleashed.

Edit_Grass
Type this code followed with a number from -150 to 150. Then, click on any grass and that spot will be adjusted to the number value. Using Edit_Grass -150 will kill the grass as you paint, but Edit_Grass 150 will make it nice and green. Use Edit_Grass 0 to exit this mode. This code is not avalible with Hot Date, Vacation or Unleashed, but can be used in any other of the games.

Easter Eggs
Magic Genie
In Livin' Large your Sims can live like Aladdin. Buy the magic lamp and then have your Sims "clean" it. The magical genie of the lamp will come out to grant your sim a wish. Be carefull for what you wish for, the genie is not real good at getting the spells right. You might get a pot of gold, or a pile of roaches. Again becareful with this or you may not have a house or a sim left you never know what might happen.

Sim Sickness
You all know everyone gets sick thats right the Sims get sick to. With Livin' Large (or the Guinea Pig download) your Sims can get sick if they are bit by the Guinea Pig. Another way to get sick is with Vacation, your Sims can get Montozuma's Revenge or dieria. Just cook on the grill and don't shower, and your Sims will spend hours on the tolite. ahhh I have nothing to say on this.

Give them Credit
On the neighborhood map click on the bill board in the lower left-hand corner (The one that says "the sims"). The game credits will come up and will play some Simlish music. This is not really exciting I know and well I think its just a waste of time but you might not think that.

Hidden Message
With House Party you can get a cool message a picture from the "House Party development staff". To get the hidden message you need to buy the "Jungle Jumble Import Display", it is the wall decoration that looks like a round shelf with a head on it. Then have one of your sims view the object and a hidden message will pop-up. It's not really useful but you know I guess it could be cool maybe.

Answer the Phone
When the phone rings you should make sure your Sim answers it, if you do you could win some extra cash or other prizes! But beware of the "Prank Callers" who strike when you don't always want. They call for no reason to waste your Sim's time with very un-funny calls. I only wish you could do something back to them. Yes I know I have lots of idaes.

Sea Monster is Unleashed
In Unleashed, look at the neighboorhood map, watch the water along the bottom of the screen for a while and you may just sea Nessie (the sea monster from Sim City 2000) appear in the neighborhood's water. She will pop out of the water and then she will go away again. Don't worry, this green beast with a long neck is no problem to the Sims in the community. (You can also use the "Nessie" Cheat Code to see the monster.) This is cute to, and worth your time just to see it. I know its not much but still try it do it and check it out.
